I am a highly experienced Physics, Mathematics and General Science tutor with extensive teaching and leadership experience in both the UK and international schools.
I am experienced in teaching a broad range range of curricula and qualifications including; GCSE, A-Level, their International equivalents and the International Baccalureate.
I hold a PGCE and a BSc in Physical Sciences from University College London and have over a decade of classroom experience, including roles as Head of Department and Head of Faculty.
I have taught students across a wide range of abilities and backgrounds and guided many through their examinations, coursework, university application and interview preparation.
Alongside teaching, I have worked as an examiner and moderator, giving me detailed insight into mark schemes, common mistakes, and how to maximise exam performance.
My tutoring style is clear, structured, and supportive, with a strong focus on building confidence, deep understanding, and exam technique. I adapt lessons to each student’s needs, whether they are aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, or build long-term confidence. Catering to each student's learning style, pace, and interests.
I understand that students and families have busy schedules, so I offer flexible tutoring sessions that can be scheduled at a time and place or online that is convenient for them.
The welfare and safety of students is paramount I hold a current clear enhanced DBS certificate, and keep myself up to date with current safeguarding legislation and practices including annual KCSiE training.
